Who is behind Murasaki Teppanyaki, who makes it possible?
We opened our restaurant 15 years ago as husband and wife to support and provide for our family. After being in this business for so long we have recently welcomed one of our valued chefs into this partnership. We couldn’t make this possible without all of our team members, some of which have been with us nearly as long as the restaurant has been opened!
What makes what you do so special?
Food isn’t just about eating, it’s about the experience too! We get to cook in front of our customers and see the excitement on their faces when we perform these cool tricks. We have a lot of customers who have become our regulars after all these years.
How did Murasaki Teppanyaki come to be?
Jason had been working and cooking teppanyaki since he was 18 in Malaysia so when we immigrated to Australia, and after working in several other restaurants, we decided to open our own.

We don’t know! Anything can happen in the next 5 years
What are some of your favourite small, local businesses?
Easy House Vegetarian would have to be one of our favourite local restaurants!
